Governor Riley Appoints Angela Dawson Terry as District Court Judge

MONTGOMERY - Governor Bob Riley has appointed Hillsboro Municipal Court Judge Angela Dawson Terry to the position of District Judge of Lawrence County.

“I am pleased to appoint Angela Terry District Judge of Lawrence County,” said Governor Riley. “She has the right experience and background to fill this very important position. I am confident she will serve with distinction as district court judge,” said Governor Riley.

Terry is a 1998 graduate of Cumberland School of Law. She is a Partner with Malcom and Terry, P.C. in Moulton. Since 2004, Terry has served as Hillsboro Municipal Court Judge.

“I would like to thank Governor Riley for appointing me to this important position. I consider it a great honor to serve in this capacity in Lawrence County where I have lived and practiced for so many years,” said Judge Terry. “I look forward to serving the citizens in all aspects of the District Court, but especially the Juvenile Court.”
